Will 'Tropic Thunder' be boycotted? Advocates for the Disabled is planning on bycotting Ben Stiller's new film Tropic Thunder because of Stiller's portrayal of "Simple Jack," a mentally challenged character. The film is being accused of using excessive politically incorrect terms, such as "retard" throughout. A Dreamworks spokesperson stated that the production company in no way meant to insult the disabled--but that there would be no alterations to the film.

Bernie Mac's wife and daughter by his side at death: Bernie Mac's wife, Rhonda, and their daughter were with Mac at the time of his death. Another family member shares, "He opened his eyes on his own and looked at Rhonda. She called his name, and he opened his eyes and nodded to her. She smiled at him and told him, 'Don't leave me ... 'I'm waiting for you to come back.' He shrugged his shoulders, and she said that's when she knew he was tired. He signaled to her that his body was tired." The hospital staff tried to resuscitate Mac twice. The first time he came back for about an hour, but the second time he fell into cardiac arrest.

Rielle Hunter on lover John Edwards: In 2007, Extra spoke to Rielle Hunter, the woman who John Edwards recently admitted to having an affair with:  "John Edwards was interesting because in person--when I met him--he was very real and authentic from my perception," she said. "His public persona, from what I knew of him in 2004, wasn't really that, in my opinion. So I came up with this idea to help him because he was inspirational to me--to be involved in politics and be so real."  The National Enquirer claims to have seen Edwards visiting Hunter and their love child in Los Angeles.  Edwards denies these accusations and is demanding a paternity test. 11-year-old accused of armed robbery: Orlando police are saying that 11-year-old Shawn Roderick entered a Walgreens pharmacy early Monday morning and held up the clerk with two BB guns. "When the officers got there and, if there was a level of resistance by him and he did not comply with them and pointed those guns--and they look real--it could have been a lot worse this morning," explained Sgt. Barbara Jones. Roderick was taken to a juvenile assessment center and has been booked on commercial robbery.
