Mom arrested for having 12-year-old drive her to bar: Jennifer Lynn Rosenberg, 35, has been arrested for having her 12-year-old daughter drive her to a local bar. Her daughter was actually caught by police as she pulled back into the driveway, and bumped into their home at a slow speed. When questioned by the authorities, the daughter told them where she had taken her mother. The police found Rosenberg still at the bar and she is now being held on a $2,500 bond.

Donald Trump bails out Ed McMahon?: Donald Trump has announced that he will buy McMahon's Beverly Hills estate and lease it to the famous TV personality. McMahon defaulted on $4.8 million in mortgage loans in June, partially due to his recent neck injury that has kept him from working over the last 18 months. "When I was at the Wharton School of Business, I'd watch him every night," Trump told the New York Times. "How could this happen?" Both Trump and McMahon are optimistic about the deal.

Family of gay teen slain in Calif. blames school: The parents of a 15-year-old gay student who was shot to death at school in February, have filed a personal injury claim against the school district. They are claiming that the school did not enforce the dress code and allowed their son to be ridiculed for wearing makeup and feminine clothing. Their son, Lawrence King, was shot by a classmate who has since been charged as an adult and faces a charge of a committing a hate crime.
