Phelps came from behind to win the 100m butterfly by .01 of a second. Tonight the Olympic star will attempt to break the record for most gold medals in one Olympic game when he goes for his 8th gold medal in the 100-medley relay.

Expecting mother killed, unborn baby saved: A 7-month pregnant woman was struck by a van and killed in New York City, but miraculously her unborn baby survived. Donnette Sanz died after she was hit by a van and trapped under a school bus. Bystanders joined together to lift the 5-ton bus off of Donnette, before she was rushed to the hospital where doctors performed an emergency c-section and delivered 3 pound, 6 ounce Sean Michael.

Air travelers want separate class for children: A staggering 85% of frequent fliers want the airlines to create a class of seating for parents to sit with their babies and children. Even some parents agreed that the separate class would be better for everyone, but the Air Transport Association said creating a new class would be nearly impossible due to the already crowded flights.
