John Mayer speaks out on Jennifer Aniston: "There's no lying, there's no cheating, there's no nothing," John Mayer told reporters Saturday about his breakup with Jennifer Aniston after leaving an Equinox Gym in New York. Mayer added: "Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I have ever met. People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right." The couple had been dating since April and ended their relationship last week.

Australian mayor seeks 'ugly duckling' women: Mount Isa Mayor John Molony urged 'beauty-disadvantaged' women to move to woman-deprived Mount Isa, a remote Australian mining town to reverse a shortage of eligible women. The Mayer refused to apologize to the angry public, saying he was just "telling it like it is." He added, "Some, in other places in Australia, need to proceed to Mount Isa, where happiness awaits. Really, beauty is only skin deep. Isn't there a fairy tale about an ugly duckling that evolves into a beautiful swan?"

Hershey chocolate raises prices: Candy maker Hershey said on Friday it was raising U.S. prices by roughly 10 percent and said the higher cost of ingredients like cocoa, corn sweetener, sugar and peanuts would weigh on profits. The maker of Hershey chocolate bars and other sweets said its 2008 profit would be at the low end of its forecast range and cut sales growth projections for 2009, sending its shares down more than 4 percent.
Hershey's price increase is effective immediately...which is bad news for all us chocoholics!

Caylee's mom may be released: Three bail bondsmen from California have flown to Orlando, FL to help Casey Anthony get out of jail. Casey's attorney called the men to help pay the $500,00 required for her release. Casey Anthony -- who has been jailed since July 16 on charges of child neglect, lying to authorities, and obstructing an investigation -- still must adhere to certain rules if she is released. According to bounty hunter Leonard Padilla: "I somewhat believe that, in her own mind, the mother has given up some truths in the statements she has made. It hasn't worked for 30 days, so let's try something different." If Casey is released, she must wear an electric monitoring device.
