This week, Croatian soccer star Dino Drpic's child was taken after being mistaken for Madeleine. "I started getting suspicious when the British woman approached Leone and started chatting with him," Drpic's wife said. "Suddenly she grabbed him by the arm, apparently thinking nobody was watching him." After the mistake was realized, the child was returned to Drpic and his wife.



Baby pronounced dead lives for hours in cooler: A stillborn baby pronounced dead by doctors was found to still be alive after having been in a hospital refrigerator for five hours. When the parents took her to be buried, they noticed movement. "We unwrapped her and felt she was moving. We didn't believe it at first. Then she began holding my mother's hand, and then we saw her open her mouth," said Faiza Magdoub, the baby's mother. It is believed that the low temperature in the cooler slowed the baby's metabolism rate and helped her survive longer, but she has since passed away.

Casey Anthony not free yet: Casey Anthony will likely not be released from jail today as she was initially planning. Bail bondsman Tony Padilla incorrectly filled out the paperwork, resulting in procedural tie-ups. Anthony remains a "person of interest" in her daughter Caylee's disappearance over two months ago.

85-year-old lady attacked in elevator: An 85-year-old Brooklyn grandmother entered an elevator to go visit her cousin when she was brutally attacked from behind by a young assailant. Lillian France was placed in a choke hold until she became unconscious. The man in his 20s or 30s got away with $900 and the woman's cane. He is suspected of committing nine other violent attacks in the area.
