Nicole Kidman's call triggers gold medal: Malcolm Page and
Nathan Wilmot, members of the Australian men's sailing team, won a gold
medal on Tuesday after receiving a good luck call from Nicole Kidman.
According to Page, he first he screened the unfamiliar number on his
cell phone before he realized it was Kidman calling. "I thought, 'Ah, I
just don't want to talk to her today,' so I bumped it," joked Page.
"Then two seconds later there was a message from Nicole wishing us good
luck," he told Melbourne's Herald Sun. Page and Wilmot had
named their boat The Australian after Kidman's upcoming movie. When
asked if Kidman's call helped them win gold, Page said: "It does go a
long way, don't worry about that."

Inman also faces charges for rapes and attempted rapes he committed as a teenager.

Verlyn Adamson is an accountant who claims he developed a secret formula that's helped him make money in the lottery over the last 20 years. Old woman has intruder call police: An 85-year-old woman busted a burglar inside her home, then forced him to call the police while she kept watch on him, police said. Smith heard someone break into her home Sunday afternoon and grabbed the .22-caliber revolver she kept by her bed. "I said, 'What are you doing in my house?' He just kept saying he didn't do it," Smith said. While forcing the 17-year-old boy to call 911, Smith held the gun on him until state police arrived at her home just outside Pittsburgh. The boy will be charged with attempted burglary and related offenses in juvenile court. "It was exciting," Smith said. "I just hope I broke up the (burglary) ring because they have been hitting a lot of places around here."
