Michael Phelps chooses Frosted Flakes over Wheaties: Apparently the greatest Olympian of all time has a sweet tooth. Health experts are up in arms over Michael Phelps' choice to be featured on the Frosted Flakes box, instead of the traditional Wheaties box. Frosted Flakes has three times the sugar content and only a small fraction of the fiber.

Man attacks family after fender bender: Casey Weldon Till, 26, has been arrested for violently assaulting several individuals involved in a small fender bender. After Till's minivan ran into a stopped car, he began slashing the occupants of the car with a knife. He then took their car and ran over a woman from another nearby car, killing her. Till is currently being held on charges of murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, carjacking and improper exhibition of a weapon.

More and more paying for parents' care: The AARP is stating that 80 percent of family members are responsible for helping the estimated 10 million American adults who need special care. Some adults preemptively leave a certain member of their family more money in their will, in appreciation for the care given. "Whether it's a friendly or hostile situation, families do squabble over it," says Monika White, president of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. "A lot of times, the siblings that aren't taking care of the parent contribute money, and that's their contribution to the care."

Mom attacks woman at cheerleading camp: Michelle Rains, 39, has been charged with simple battery after she allegedly attacked the president of the cheerleading clinic, for not moving her 9-year-old daughter to a different squad than the one assigned. Rains denies hitting Nancy Cunningham, president of the Sharon Springs Cheerleading Association. "I did not punch her," Rains said. "I did take my three fingers and put them underneath her chin and push her head back. ... I think it escalated to a point where it shouldn't have."

I don’t let my kids eat frosted flakes no matter who is on the cover. Perhaps this is a good oppurtunity to point out how advertising is not always truthful/ Honestly when I tell people that I don’t allow my kids to eat sugar cereal their are always comments about how mean I am. Everyone knows McDonald’s is bad for kids. All kids still seem addicted to their food. I would rather he choose to promote oatmeal but hey it’s a free country!
