Biden said McCain "can't change America when you know your first four years as president will look exactly like the last eight years of George Bush's presidency." The two top Democrats will campaign across the country and head to Denver, where Obama will accept the nomination from his party on Thursday night, in front of a crowd of 70,000 people.

The closing ceremony takes place tonight with the passing of the Olympic flag to London, the host of the 2012 games.
