Mother-in-Law of McCain's Veep pick undecided: Senator John McCain made a historic selection by picking a mother of 5, Sarah Palin, to be his running mate. But some voters have reservations when it comes to the first-term Alaska governor, including her own mother-in-law. Faye Palin says she is a fan of Barack Obama and still hasn't decided who she'll vote for and strongly disagrees with her daughter-in-law's anti-abortion rights platform. Wow, guess it's not just our own mothers-in-law who don't support us, huh?
Mandatory evacuation ordered for New Orleans: Residents in New Orleans were ordered to evacuate immediately due to the imminent threat of hurricane Gustav. Just three years after Hurricane Katrina devastated the gulf-coast region, Gustav is building strength and is currently a category-3 storm, but forecasters fear it could build strength and reach a category-5 before coming ashore on Monday. New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin ordered the mandatory, immediate evacuation of the city saying this was not a test and calling Gustav the, "storm of the century."
Gas prices even getting to Diddy: The rising gas prices are having an effect on rapper and mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs. The Hip-Hop star, who usually flies a private jet from New York to Los Angeles for $200,000, says gas prices are getting too high and he's flying commercial. Diddy had a message to everyone out there: tell whoever the next President is we need to bring gas prices down." Forget feeding your families, people--Diddy has to fly commercial... now it's just gone too far.
Girl kicked off football team: Fourteen-year-old Kacy Stuart was one of the star players on her public school's football team, but after moving to a private school, was kicked off the team--guess why. While taking team pictures, Kacy was told by the executive board chairman of the Georgia Football League that she would not be allowed to play because she was a girl. Kacy's mom plans to file an injunction

With it being a private school, I would bet they will be able to get away with this, they can make up their own rules.
I do not feel sorry for P. Diddy. He has more money than most of us.
There are some things in our culture that should be segregated by sex and football is one of them. Women don’t have what it takes. And one woman on the team is a distraction to the rest of the men. Seperate showers? Seperate dressing rooms? Special treatment during drills on the field? Forget it. This girl is being selfish and so is her mother. I’m glad somebody had the guts to do the right thing.
In pertaining announcement, the Wayans brothers wish to cast Tiger woods in their subsequent film but they can not determine if the title should really be White Chicks eleven or 12 ?
