Biden: His Time
After months of rumor, speculation and endless theorizing, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama has chosen his potential Vice President.

In breaking news over night, Senator Barack Obama notified supporters that his choice for vice president is Delaware Senator Joe Biden.
Biden, a 6-term senator, was first elected to the Senate when he was just 29-years-old and faced challenges early on when his wife and daughter were killed in a car accident. Biden considered leaving the Senate before he could even start on the job, but decided to fight on as a single parent and became one of the most respected leaders on Capitol Hill and a top foreign policy expert.
When discussing the qualities he was looking for in a running mate, Obama said "obviously, the most important question is: is this person ready to be president?...Can this person help me govern? Are they going to be an effective partner in creating the kind of economic opportunity here at home and guiding us through some dangerous waters internationally?"
The Obama/Biden ticket will make their debut today in Springfield, Illinois at the same place where the democratic nominee launched his campaign 19-months ago.
