Celebrate the end of another hectic work week by kicking back and taking a trip to France... Well, if you can't travel to France, you can at least drink like you're there.

French 75 Ingredients
Ice cubes
2 ounces fresh lemon juice
2 ounces Simple Syrup *
4 ounces gin
One 750-milliliter bottle chilled Champagne
Lemon and orange slices for garnish
Maraschino cherries for garnish
Preparation
1. Fill 4 highball glasses three quarters full with ice cubes. Add 1/2 ounce lemon juice, 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup, and 1 ounce gin, in that order.
2. Top off each glass with Champagne and garnish with a lemon slice, orange slice, and cherry.
* Simple Syrup- 2 cups water, 3 cups granulated sugar
1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and continue to let boil, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved.
2. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool completely.
