Party Olympian Style

With the Olympics going on for the next two weeks, celebrate the games in China from the comforts of your own home.

From food to decorations to party drinks, momlogic has the step-by-step plan to the perfect theme party!

Turn your home into Beijing, China
Go red with decorations and drape the walls with international flags. Do it easily and cheaply by printing the flags right off your color printer and tape them up. For more theme party ideas, click on the pictures below.

Food from around the world!
It's the perfect night to feast! Make this event a potluck -- have family and friends each bring a recipe from a different country. You'll get to try foods you've never had and -- this way -- everyone brings something different. Since you're the hostess, provide food from the hosting country, China.

If you want to get more creative, serve this meal in a Chinese take-out box with chopsticks.

Pair your meal with wine and beer tasting
Have guests bring a bottle of wine from the country they've chosen. You can provide beer from around the world. They sell Beers of the World at your local World Market or Costco. Set out beer mugs and wine glasses for everyone to taste test and enjoy.

Share some of your own party ideas with us!
