Simplicity Inc. Recalls Bassinets

Retailers are stopping the sale of 900,000 dangerous Simplicity bassinets.  The bassinets have velcro flaps that, if not properly secured, pose a stranglation hazard.  There have been reports of two infant deaths due to strangulation.  For more information, click here.

This baby was my cousins daughter. She is the 2nd baby in 10 months to die in this. If you have one…..don’t put your children in it.

Bought Simplicity bassinet from Amazon & sent as a gift 4/08, then got a notice re. the recall. It was sent to the address shown on the recall notice. Have tried for 6 1/2 months to get a refund, emailing Amazon, CSN furniture, Happy Mothers, etc.,, & got only negative replies from all. The baby is safe, but I lost my money!
