A Palin fan, I am not, but still it shocks me that she would be complacent in this behaviour. She seems to have a lot to say. What are they afraid of?

Teen age pregnancy, drug use, now an affair? No wonder Palin and her family are being shielded! Where are HER family values??? Now McCain wants to postpone the debates? They SHOULD be spreading their message but instead are so arrogant. I hope for the future of our country, the Republican voters will see this administration for what it is and what it is about.

I agree. When you choose someone to be your VP, you’re saying that you trust that they would be able to handle the role of president if (God-forbid) something were to happen to the president in office. Who would shield Palin from the press/other national leaders/etc. then?!

She appears to be savy and determined when scripted. She’s such a lure of excitement for the GOP right now, I think they are afraid of what will come out of her mouth when she is not being told what to say. Especially after that interview with Charles Gibson, they need her to be permanently attached to a teleprompter. I agree, let’s hear her speak. I think public opinion of her will change.
