Putting Swarovski crystals in your eyes is the next big thing in beauty. WTF?

Bored with your regular old contact lenses? Why not try the latest contact fad: Swarovski adorned contacts. Forget about the health hazards these may cause -- putting bling directly into your eyes will make them sparkle more, so who cares!

Seriously. We'll stick to bedazzling t-shirts, not eyes.

HUH? OMG they better figure out if this is a health hazard or not! How much are these things anyway. that is ridiculous although i’m sure some weird rockstar would try it.. like Lil kim

WOW, now my eyes can REALLY TRUELY sparkle!!! I guess some idiot is going to buy these and someone will profit…if only people can put their brains to better use. Forget about a cure for cancer, who needs that when you can have bling in your eyes?!?

they would almost be cute if they weren’t so impractical and hazardous… I have contacts and it sucks getting anything in them (like an eyelash).. but putting tiny stones in there? You gotta be kidding! And all the protein and bacteria that would collect on those lenses around the stones would surely cause infection. I have to wonder if they’ll ever get approval to actually release these things to the general public.

I actully think they are cute. I can see a model wearing them. People who party in night clubs. I think of Vegas party life. And I could bet that they don’t harm your eyes at all.
