New research says single women want to conceive with male friends. Would you?

More than half of single women would consider asking a male friend to father their child if they didn't meet the right man by a certain age, according to British research.

According to the study conducted by the vitamin supplement company Vitabiotics, most women have concerns about conceiving naturally and whether or not they'll meet the right guy.

56% of these single gals (all between the ages of 28 and 31) said they would even lower their standards if their search for love was fruitless -- even if it means turning to their guy friends for help conceiving.

Given the changing face of families today -- same-sex marriages, single parents, and blended families -- is it any more strange to ask a man you already know and trust to fulfill a father role in a platonic arrangement?

Tell us - would you ask a male friend to father your child?
