Who's Your (Donor) Daddy?

We always thought that paying people to masturbate was illegal. Well, it's not -- and thousands of men across the country are selling their sperm. And women are buying it.

More and more women are making the decision to use donor insemination to have children. But what happens after the samples are taken? What happens if a child is born from a man's sperm and that child decides he/she wants to meet their biological father?

Todd Whitehurst donated sperm to the California Cryobank for four years (two to three times a week) to make extra money while attending Stanford University graduate school.

Todd always hoped that one day a child he fathered might want to make contact with him. Well, he got his wish; virtually overnight Todd went from a father of two (with his ex-wife) to a father of AT LEAST eight. Check out the video to see what Todd and two of his six children (via donor insemination) have to say about their experience.

Todd says that meeting the children he fathered with his donations has been a blessing. He says he has no intention of removing his name from the Donor Sibling Registry and welcomes any, and all, children he helped conceive into his life.

That’s so cool… I think it’s great that they can find out who their dad is, and these kids get to have new brothers and sisters as well.
