Look out! Lindsay's on a rampage! The rehabbed starlet was out throwing punches in NYC Sunday night.

TMZ reports the star tripped on a metal barricade, but thought a paparazzo tripped her. So she channeled her inner Mean Girl and stuck up for herself -- by punching a photog in the face right after she got on her cell phone and yelled "OMG! I just hit a paparazzi!" The site says cops were called ... but no arrests were made.
