In 2004, the Food and Drug Administration produced a black-box warning label warning that the drugs can increase risks for suicidal tendencies. There is still a heated controversy among psychiatrists over whether or not the benefits of anti-depressants outweigh the risks.
Starbucks unveils new menu: In an attempt to reverse slowing sales, Starbucks is offering a new breakfast menu that they hope will draw additional health-conscious customers. The new items will range from muffins to granola to a protein plate. The company has been scrambling for new ideas after having to cut many jobs and close numerous stores nationwide due to decreasing business.
Dog chip reunites mom with toddler: 2-year-old Annabelle Fabrizio was spotted walking behind her dog early Tuesday morning. The girl, wearing only a diaper, was pulled off the road by a neighbor and she and the dog were taken to Animal Control. The dog was then scanned for an identification chip, which brought up the family's phone number and allowed the young girl to be reunited with her mother. The 16-year-old babysitter who was caring for Annabelle had thought she was sleeping, but was not charged in the incident.
