Theft charges filed against Casey Anthony: The Florida state attorney's office has formally filed charges of grand theft, three counts of fraudulent use of personal identification, three counts of forgery of a check, and three counts of uttering a forged check against Casey Anthony, mother of missing toddler Caylee. Casey was in jail until last week, when her $500,000 bail was posted by an anonymous source. She is currently confined to her parents' home and must wear a monitor. She remains a "person of interest" in the disappearance of her daughter.

Woman in coma awakens to get married: After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Giovanna asked her doctors to help her marry her long-time boyfriend Enzo. The 50-year-old woman was being kept in an induced coma for the pain, but was brought to consciousness for a few moments so that she could say "I do." This is "a last wish that finally became reality," Enzo said . "This is a fairy tale, a dream."

Are taller people happier?: A Gallup Healthways Well-Being Index study has discovered that the taller you are, the more likely you are to be happy and content with life and the less likely to complain about stress or sadness. The study also showed that men who didn't graduate from high school were on average 2 inches shorter than those who went on to college. The connection with height and happiness was more relevant in men than in women.

Chinese infant formula contains tainted chemical: FDA officials are warning US consumers not to purchase infant formula made in China. Several brands have recently come under investigation for suspicion of being contaminated with melamine, a chemical used in plastics. Momlogic's Dr. Cara Natterson says, "Today's FDA advisory about infant formulas was only a warning directed at formula produced in China. All formula manufactured in the US is considered safe, and no baby formula approved for use in the US is made in China. There are specialty stores in this country, however, that cater to specific ethnic groups. The FDA is concerned that specialty markets in Asian communities may have some of the implicated formulas on their shelves."
