Married couples sleeping apart: In a new study, the National Sleep Foundation says one in four couples sleep in separate beds. Hello Ward and June Cleaver! Fidgeting, loud snoring and restlessness causes many partners to head to the couch or a guest bedroom. And according Stephanie Coontz, author of Marriage: A History, that's not necessarily a bad thing. "In the early 20th century, there was this idea that when you were married, you shouldn't have a separate existence. But in the last 30 years, we've come up with something absolutely revolutionary that says there's more than one way to do marriage. People are saying there are lots of ways to have a happy marriage and even a good sex life." Moral of the story -- what works for you in the bedroom, works. Hit the couch if you have to!

Alot of women sleep on the couch (like myself) because of their husband’s snoring.
