Mom leaves baby to gamble

Mom leaves baby to gamble: Police arrested a Phoenix mother after they say they found her baby home alone for three hours while she went to a casino. Ada Delrosario Schwartzmann, 33, told police it was around 1:00 AM and she couldn't sleep, so she put her 10-month-old infant in a rocking swing chair, drove to a convenience store to purchase cigarettes, and then went to a casino. Schwartzmann says she left the child at home because she was sleeping well, and she didn't want to wake her up. Police found the baby after a relative called 911. Child Protective Services was notified, and the baby is with relatives.
