A school bus driver who thought her bus was empty lost control of her bus and slammed into a house in Charlotte, N.C.after she was startled by a sleeping student. The 15-year-old girl had fallen asleep while on the bus and missed her stop. The driver was enroute to pick up other students when she saw the teenager wake up and lost control, hitting a curb and plowing into the house. The 81-year-old woman inside the home, the driver and the student weren't seriously injured. The school district suspended the driver with pay because she failed to confirm that all the students had gotten off the bus.
