"You should be ashamed!" said Palin's assistant Ivy Frye to Whitstine, who is critical of Palin. "Stop blogging. Stop blogging right now!"
We guess even assistants who work in government forget about the First Amendment. Oops.

What some wacko does on their own time is their personal business. This works for conservatives as well as liberals, just ask Isabel Garcia of the Pima Country Public Defender’s office.

If the blogger uses her freedom of speech to blog. Then she has to expect that others are going to use their freedom of speech to disagree with her and tell her to stop.
Especially if the blogs are believed to have false information.

I’ll bet my ass that Palin blew up on her assistant and the assistant just went and did that thing stressed women do and redirected it at the blogger. Not trying to cover for Palin or anything, I’m a Democrat. Just saying. Just like those Obama rumors put out there by a few extreme Republicans, this could very well have been put out there by extreme Democrats.
Palin will have everything she does and says exposed for the public to see and hear when she is V.P. We will see the true Palin then. Palin only received 800+ out of a 1,000 who voted for her for mayor, in a town of 5,500. Not many people cared who the mayor was for their town. So it seems that its just a few who have negative things to say, 300+ out of 1,000 people. It makes me wonder if Sherry Whitstine really got that call? I would like to hear what Ivy Frye has to say first before I judge.

I agree with Sharon. I want to hear the recording of the phone call plus be able to actually READ the blog. I think its just an excuse to get everyone all riled up about nothing. This is a cheap shot that only works with those who can’t think for themselves.
Anyone can say what they want, all of us have said dumb things, who cares that Palin’s assistant said to stop blogging? Is it really that ridiculous or news worthy to tell someone to stop doing something you don’t want them to do? Since the assistant has no power here, who cares?

First of all! Sherry Whitstine is a Conservative, and second of all this Ivy Frye person who works for Sarah Palin, whom Sherry and i know personally called her at her home which is un called for!!! Sherry was only blogging about how un professional Sarah is and how she is abusing her power as governor. Sherry has a right to her own opinion, especially cause she lives in Wasilla Alaska.
To each of you fine Americans who don’t have a clue about Sarah Palin…. My story of the intimidation of private people is true. However, this is the least of the abuses by Sarah and Todd. Many Alaskans who really have something to lose like a position or promotion, job and property. These Alaskans have stories to tell, but cannot. If you think Sarah will not use the power and her vindictive, incompetent ways at the top of the food chain to get back at those she perceives to have been ungodly hinderences, well than you are fools and deserve inept fools to have rule over you.
