Rob Lowe snaps back at nanny: The actor responded to a former nanny accusing him and his wife of harassment, saying it was the nanny--not his wife--who used a racial slur and behaved inappropriately. Lowe filed sworn statements from people who worked with Laura Boyce in response to her claims against Lowe and wife Sheryl. Boyce sued the Lowe's in April, alleging Sheryl Lowe created a "sexually offensive and hostile work environment" by using the n-word to describe Boyce's boyfriend and walking around "naked, completely exposing herself." The actor faces a separate legal battle with former nanny Jessica Gibson, who filed a lawsuit against the Lowes in April.

Police videotape nursing home sex: A Wisconsin court ruled that police who videotaped a man having sex with his comatose wife in her nursing home room violated his constitutional rights. David W. Johnson, 59, had a right to privacy when he visited his wife, a stroke victim, at Divine Savior Nursing Home and police conducted unreasonable searches when they installed a hidden video camera in the room. Johnson visited his wife frequently and would close the door to her room so they could have privacy. But staff members informed police, fearing she was in danger because they suspected he was having sex with her.

Revered teacher arrested: Salt Lake City police arrested an award-winning high school teacher for sexually abusing a 17-year-old female student. Jose Bernaf Fajul, 46, a social studies and world language teacher, was booked into jail for investigation of forcible sexual abuse and forcible sodomy. Fanjul was beginning his fourth year at West High School and was the recipient of Utah's 2007 No Child Left Behind American Star of Teaching Award.

Photographer convicted of sexual abuse: A federal judge in Connecticut has sentenced a professional photographer to more than 16 years in prison for turning a teenage girl into what the court calls a sex slave. The judge called the case "terribly tragic" when he sentenced 61-year-old Robert Gamble of on Wednesday. Police say Gamble sexually abused, assaulted and exploited the girl for five years starting when she was 13. He also took sexually explicit photographs of her and abused her daily. Gamble pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge but his lawyer says he plans to appeal.
