An autopsy indicates the cause of the woman's death was the cessation of her oxygen machine and the related stress. The coroner said the energy company should have had more concern for the family's welfare, especially after the husband told them his wife, who was the family's breadwinner, was sick.

Shirley, they couldn’t have possibly known that cutting the power off would kill that women!
Didn’t they call the power company and try to work out a payment plan? How could she be a “breadwinner” if she was on a oxygen machine?
Maybe they thought they shouldn’t have to pay. There are too many unanswered questions. Mom Logic is playing the sympathy card.

THERE DOESN’T NEED TO BE SYMPATHY, THIS WAS NOT A TRAGIC ACCIDENT. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY IS FEELING THE EFFECT OF COMPANYS PUTTING THE DOLLAR FIRST… AND THIS IS DISGRACEFUL AND SHAMING THAT A FAMILY HAD TO WATCH THERE MOTHER DIE THAT WAY
