Barney is very fashion forward. Why? He's purple ... and that just so happens to be the color of the moment.

If you find yourself getting dreary and drab in the fall and winter, here's a fun way to brighten up your look: Add purple. From makeup to accessories, the color is everywhere -- and unlike your bright yellows and fuschias, it's nicely understated. When going to the office, add a purple patent leather belt, for dinner add some shimmery purple eye shadow and slip on some black tights with purple platforms.
