Save This Single Mom's House

Here's how you can help.

Lori Hall Steele, a 44-year-old single mom and freelance writer, was
diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease and chronic Lyme disease last year.
She's got $50,000 in medical bills, and now her bank is threatening to foreclose on her mortgage within days. She's currently confined to a hospital bed and hooked up to a breathing machine, so she's unable to work.
A group of mom bloggers and writers are trying to save Lori's house so her 7-year-old son Jack will always have a roof over his head. To hear more or contribute to this great cause, click here.

My heart goes out to her and her family. What a horrible thing to happen. I hope they are able to save her house. Bless her.

What a tragic thing to happen to this beautiful young woman and her son. I lost a grandfather to Lou Gehrig’s. He suffered for a year and a half and it was terrible. For any of you that don’t know, it detiorates the muscles until you are just a skelaton. I feel for this woman and her child. Many prayers go out to this family.
