Should middle school girls really be walking around smelling like a French cathouse?
Yes, junior high stinks-- but not for the reason you'd think. Just ask 11 middle school students in New Hampshire and their driver -- who were taken to a hospital after a girl spilled a bottle of perfume on the bus.
Michael Gamache, the District Fire Chief, reported that kids were vomiting and short of breath because the
perfume stench was, "very concentrated ... pungent," The student has not been identified and neither has the brand of perfume. That'll probably make the offending perfume manufacturer breathe a sigh of relief.
But what are tweens running around dousing themselves in perfume anyway? When some of us were kids, a little spray of Love's Baby Soft was all we were allowed to wear.
What do you think? Does the idea of perfume for young girls reek?
