The Childless Bitch on Back to School: Page 3

7. Last time I checked, back to school wasn't a holiday recognized in the employee handbook.  If you're taking a half-day to photograph for your "Through the Years" scrapbook, I'm taking a half-day for my making it "Through the Morning" hangover.

8. The return of midget panhandlers. Unless the Chocolate Thriller your kid is selling vibrates and comes with double AA batteries, I'm not interested in supporting local education.

9. Dealing with emotionally wrecked moms at work.  What is so stressful about getting a child ready for back to school? Hand the kid a ruler and push him out the door.  School is all about survival of the fittest.  If he can't figure out how to dress himself, find food and make friends on his own, there's nothing you can do anyway.  Except maybe buy him a lawnmower.

10.  Speaking of work, thanks to Margie's 10 a.m. orthodontist appointment and Sally's 4 p.m. piano lesson, I'm stuck picking up your slack at work.  Don't these kids have a father?  Or at least a child support check to pay for transportation?

I just can't win. You can lock the kids up in school for six hours, yet moms roam free picking up their annoying slack.  Is there no justice in this kid-infested world?

To higher learning!

“Return of the midget panhandlers”

OMG! Seriously. I swear when my kid is old enough I will not force my friends, neighbors or co-workers to buy any crap! Especially, chocolate they don’t need and that they will only complain about later after it lodges itself permanently under the epidermis of the buttocks and thighs.

A tip o’ the glass to you, Childless Bitch. Keepin’ it real for moms in denial (and some with no sense of humor).

Goodness! Seems like someone hasn’t had their morning coffee yet. Maybe instead of complaining about other peoples children, you should focus on your life, and what you’re neglecting to do (or make better). Since you don’t have children, you really don’t understand the stress of school, or getting ready for school. My children light up my life, but they’re still stressful. Go find a therapist and work out your issues.

Wow. I for one MISS my kids when they go back to school. But I’d imagine there are some parents with more rowdy children who look forward to the break.

I really laughed OUT LOUD. Your 2 - 10 reasons are hilarious and I guess VALID points from your own self-centered perspective. But aren’t ALL our own perspectives self-centered? This was still at least a funny read, thanks!

I wish many children to you Mrs. Funny Bitch :D

Kudos to CB for being CHILDLESS! CB is so ANGRY and NASTY. CB is an immediate danger to those in traffic or in Target. It would be better for CB to telecommute to spare co-workers, and the rest of society, from such extreme rage!

Kate September 4, 2008, 1:31 PM

I wonder if CB is like this in real life or if she just prefers to bottle it up inside and rant anonymously online like so many commenters on momlogic. CB probably isn’t even a real person, but rather a collective group from momlogic seeking to stir up readers by posting grossly exaggerated complaints from the perspective of a CB.

okay, this one was pretty amusing :)

McCoy September 4, 2008, 3:07 PM

Wow. Someone is obviously childless because they need to have some alone time with a man if you know what I mean. I can agree with some of your points about the stores being a mess and having to wade though the mass of humanity, but bashing other peoples children is childish and uncalled for. I don’t care how civilized a mom is, if someone talked like that about her child she would be kicking the crap out of them. All that said, I am sure its just a ploy to get moms riled…. Congrats, you succeeded.

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bawwwwhahahhahahahahahhaha!
these CB rants are hafreakinlarious!

Jenny September 4, 2008, 3:45 PM

I hope this is a ploy to get moms riled and create controversy because I would hate to think that this poor person has so much hate in them. I also would think it quite sad that they have nothing better to do then to put down children. CB was once a child and I hope that no one was ever as nasty to her as she seems to want to be to others.

If CB is a real person I hope one day she has happy things to focus on in her life.

this is absolutely hilarious but being the Mom of 3 and Grandma of 2 makes it really even funnier!

I for one am extremely glad the children are going back to school so my place of employment can stop doubling as a daycare center. I mean really, for those of us without children, how do we entertain the little ones that run in and out of our offices with the look of its your turn to entertain me. Sorry kids. I have a job to do. Working mothers - please find a camp of something for your little ones during their breaks. Be considerate of your non-child owning co-workers.

MomLogic always seems to run these too-hateful-to-be-true stories. I doubt they are legit, although no doubt there really are people out there who feel like “CB.” I guess ignorance is not always bliss.

Connie  September 4, 2008, 9:44 PM

I can’t seem to decide whether or not I like CB. On one hand she makes me laugh because I know women and kids that behave the way she describes, (annoying),on the other hand, being a mom of teenage twins (both of whom have Epilepsy), I sometimes have to leave work early for doctor’s appointments, but I never leave my work for others to “pick up”, and I find that assumption annoying.
Guess I’ll have to keep reading and try to figure it out.

Anna September 4, 2008, 10:35 PM

my reply for #8 is, your an idiot, candy rocks. I know it is not a school fundraising thing but girl scout cookies rock esp thin mint! So don’t dis kids selling candy.

momoffour September 5, 2008, 6:58 AM

May you be blessed with many children so that you may get a new perspective and get a clue.

seriously?? September 5, 2008, 7:45 AM

The CB rant is actually amusing in the hope that this is just that a rant about nothing. Quite frankly if you hate dealing with these issues change your lifestyle, as in shop at night, work from home have a baby, and grow up and think about someone other than yourself. I am one of those mom’s who can’t wait for school to start, but once it does, probably about a week into it I can’t wait for it to end…. Yep hypocrite I know I don’t care. I love having a break but on the other hand I hate how quite it is. CB needs to take a xanex and leave for work a little early and if she trully feels this way definetly should never have a child for fear that her problems and issues will always come ahead of her child. “CASEY ANTHONY SYNDROME”!!!!How you like that analogy!! Anyway I hope as others have stated that this is just a ploy to get mom’s all riled up, cause if this trully is the opinion of a real life person I would hope to god I never actually ran into her in person!!

Lisa September 5, 2008, 9:12 AM

oh get a sense of humor people. I’m a mom of 3 very active boys. I look forward to them going back to school.

Maureen September 5, 2008, 9:54 AM

Sounds like she’s truly grasping at straws for this crap. As usual, sad and ignorant.

Cindy September 5, 2008, 10:33 AM

Okay, I am a step-mom and had custody of him for ages 6-12.

Let me tell you, I STILL can relate to CB. She’s right, people, and you know it. For those of you with perfect children, I salute you…but, to those of us with “normal” children (ie: not perfect), we should read between the lines and see the truthful humor in this.

And, ignorance has nothing to do with it. Just because someone decides to use logic in the decision to have and raise a child or in this case to NOT have children, is no reason for you to judge them and call them idiots or ignorant.

I happen to have an IQ of 146 (on a good day) and I made the decision to save my virginity until I was 24 and to get married and still NOT have children. Why bring a child into the world, when there is no guarantee that we will be here tomorrow, there are way too many children in this world that need adopted, and we can barely scrape by with enough to feed me and my husband - let alone pay for diapers and drs. appts. for children, too?

And my last point is…see the humor, people, see the humor :)

Jenny September 5, 2008, 2:25 PM

Cindy

I dont think that people have anything against CB for choosing NOT to have children. In fact, with her attitude I am sure it is a good, wise decision for her. My issue with CB is that she seems like such a nasty person who enjoys spreading negativity. Ive never read anything by her before which is why I am here, I was curious. I do have to wonder why would a childless person be on a website called MOM Logic. No child is person, some (alot) are down right annoying but shoot, why waste your time blogging about how much you can’t stand them. It seems sad to me that while she could be blogging about something that brings her happiness she chooses to act like a nasty old coot and try to make others feel badly.

Jenny
