SARAH: ALL THE WAY!
"It is unfair and dangerous to question Palin's role as a mother. To say she should stay home because she has 5 children and one with Down syndrome is completely sexist and barbaric. If she were a man, this wouldn't even be a discussion. She'll travel a lot and have to change plans at the drop of a hat, but she'll also show her children that women are capable of multi-tasking just as much if not more than men. To suggest she's a bad mother suggests all working mothers are bad mothers, and I take great offense to that. She's a great mother not despite the fact that she works, but because she works. You go, Sarah!"
- Angela, mom of 1

But some moms think this is just crazy talk. Go to PAGE FOUR to hear why one mom thinks a vote for Sarah Palin is a vote against her kids.

I’m sorry but if you choose to have five children, you’ve made the choice to be a full-time mom. I’m a single mom of two daughters and I’ve CHOSEN to be there for my children in the afternoon when they come home from school…and just be there emotionally available to talk with them. If I was running a state, would I actually have the time do that. No! And neither does Sara Palin. She is a hypocrite in my opinion: Saying she’s pro-life, but then she’s ignoring the life she’s chosen to bring into this world. I want to see change in our leadership, but let’s not choose a woman who is obviously not qualified or setting a great example just because she’s a woman. Let’s choose a woman who has shown that she can raise a family effectively and run a state. Sara Palin is a disaster waiting to happen…we’ll all be focused on her downfall as a mother and the country will not get the attention it needs and DESERVES!

Sarah Palin is a strong willed woman who has a husband and family who obviously support her in whatever she wants to do in life. As a mother of a son in college and a daughter in college, I see so many lessons they can learn and be inspired from their family. I want both my children to pursue whatever they want and have families. Why would we send them to college if we did not want them to do that! Sarah is fantastic in our opinion. Her husband is amazing too! My kids wil learn so many lessons from them! Thank you for your courage and convictions Sarah!

I am so proud of Sarah Palin. She IS what this country needs right now. She will show everyone that women can have a family and do anything else they set their mind to. In my opinion, there are far to many women in this country that would rather stay on the Welfare system, and say they are doing it “for the kids” when its just a matter of them being to lazy to go out and get a job. I wish more people in this country had the drive and determination Sarah Palin has. She has a great family support system to help raise her children. It is not ONLY her, or women in general for that matter’s, responsibility to raise children. This is the year 2008, not 1950!

I guess after researching mrs.palin I find that I didn’t really care about the fact that her daughter has a baby on the way(things happen) and how american is that. I just hope that the guy she is pregnant by stands by her. Obama basically asked if that could be a none issue but after Palin’s speech last night I really don’t care for her at all. She talked about Obama more than she talked about any issues. Woman are multitaskers and she did not display anything last night but just talked about Obama and that just swayed everything. Get rest Palin you are in this for the long haul.
