The world's most famous globetrotter turns 21 today -- and to celebrate, he's been hitting the hotspots.

That most elusive character Waldo turns 21 today. The star of the "Where's Waldo?" franchise hits the milestone with other young Hollywood celebs coming of age this fall, including Blake Lively, Hilary Duff and Zac Efron.

The "Where's Waldo" books became popular in America in the 1990s, and now there's a national obsession with spotting Waldo in crowded illustrations.

Wearing his signature striped sweater, the globetrotting dude has been popping up in high profile places like NY Fashion Week. He was seated right in the front row with the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson, Emma Roberts and a Gossip Girl. Hopefully he picked picked up some wardrobe tips -- stripes are soooo ten years ago.
