Body Language Expert: Palin Won the Debate Hands Down

Friday, October 3, 2008

Find out why in a Momlogic exclusive interview.

sarah palin

Body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass analyzed last night's VP debate ... and says Sarah Palin was the clear winner.

Here's why, according to Dr. Glass:

• When Palin first got to the stage, she blew a kiss, which is typically unprofessional and certainly unpresidential. But at the same time, it's endearing and refreshing. It's something we haven't seen before.

• She looked right into the camera, really connecting with her audience. Biden kept looking away, and referring to the host, which was disconnecting.

• Palin's folksy, and she knows it works ... so she's really playing it, milking it. It makes her likable to many people.

• The only time Palin faltered is when she was talking about Israel, a heavy issue. But she got right back on her feet.

• Palin's smile and winks are coquettish and charming. People respond to them because it's refreshing. We've seen the smug curmudgeonly faces for so long, it's a nice change.

Do you agree?

I loved Palin, and I was comfortable with her on the debate. I still think the moderator should not have even been allowed to stay on as moderator as it was discovered that she was in camp Obama. I think it is funny how Gwen could possibly be non-bias, I wonder how the debate would have gone if this discovery of her writing a book concerning Obama was not brought forth before the debate, its such a shame she did not disclose this book, and her association with Obama. I just want to remind everyone on the double standards people are showing, we have had Presidential candidates look at camera before, and “talk” to the American public, the last one to do so, so effectively was Clinton, and the Democrats loved him for it, shame on your double standards now.

Now getting down to the raw of it all… Palin is a bright, articulate, and knowledgeable American Woman… and the Democrats just wish she was in their camp! That said, I will also say… she is HOT! In more ways than the one most of you are thinking I am referring to. Palin brings life to the Republican Party which the Democrats do not have… Thank You Sarah. McCain did awesome in picking an outsider… something the Democrats did not consider or have the balls to attempt. With the pick of Governor Sarah Palin the Republican Party has something to build on for the future. The Republicans are turning towards the future not living in the past like the Democratic Party. The Republican Party is brought new blood into the political debate, blood which has backbone and experience, has American values, American morals, and yes American Pride and is not afraid of the truth. The stale Democratic Party is still the same old liberal socialist standard giving more to the perceived poor… and I don’t have a problem with giving to the poor and helping them out, if they are poor because they were unable to work… but when I see the Socialist WELFARE state the DEMOCRATE have levied on the hard working American people… I am against any free handout to people who could work but are just too damn lazy to.

I think it speaks volumes that the same people who are trying to shame the democrats for not liking Palin and not “having anything positive to say” about her are refuting their own arguments by calling Dems “Pigs” and “stupid.” Wake up Palin supporters not everything either candidate said was 100% true. go to www.factcheck.org and see for yourself. On those standards Palin lost the debate by a landslide.

I am sure glad that Sarah has showed her true stuff. Its comforting to know that there is twice the substance and excutive experience just a heart beat away from the next president than the democrat machine offered as their presidential candidate. Community Activist? What is that? He has zero credentials and couldn’t get a secret clearance in a million years. Go Navy!

Now the bomb shells! The Liberal/Socialist leaning news and print media has attempted to humiliate Palin with all types of ridiculous rumors, propaganda and blatant outright, and outrageous lies! Unbelievable as it may be the sorry truth is the Obamaites believe it! That really worries me! But this same print and news media stands behind a candidate who is known to run is the same circles as known TERRORIST, known racist “PASTORS”, known UN-American propagandist and other UN-American ilk… what can you expect from them or the Party that brought forward this pathetic candidate. All of this is well documented not some innuendo brought forth by some overzealous supporter. Obamas records and other organizational records support the FACTS he associates, has associated with and continues to associate with Terrorist, Racists, Propagandists and other UN-American tawdry individuals. While the Liberal/Socialist leaning news and print media has attempted to humiliate Palin they have given Obama a complete PASS! It is truly pathetic a portion of Americans cannot see, let alone understand this. I know blind people who have more sight then these Obamaite Zombies! Now you may wonder just who Bob is… I am an American, born, and raised in these Great United States. I saw JFK taken from us. I saw MLK taken from us. I saw Bobby taken from us. I saw Neil land and walk on the moon. I have watched as the true pride of America has spilt its blood to bring hope, freedom and democracy to all corners of this globe. Freedom is not Free! I know! I spent 21 years defending this Great Nation and it people. I have also watched the democratic party become more and more socialist over the years. I said I was raised here but that is only partially true. I was really raised in the many foreign countries I traveled to and the 5 in which I have lived in from South East Asia to the Middle East. There is one thing I would like to relate to all who read this… in every country I have travelled to and in every country I have live in, AMERICA has and will remain the one bright and shining star that the majority of the people respect and would like their own government to emulate if not for their sake for their children’s sake. These people may not be able to say things

I will not be voting Rep or Dem this year. However, I do have one question. If Palin is such a terrible leader, Why does she have an 80% approval rating in her home state, while Congress has an approval rating of only 16% (ie.. Obama, Biden, McCain)? Just something to think about.

Sarah Palin is a remarkable, gifted woman, whose heart is in the right place. I wouldn’t underestimate her. Fay Georgia

Obama is praised for his empty rhetoric, Biden for his polished delivery of manufactured “facts,” but Sarah is dismissed for her matter-of-fact, down-home and ultimately honest delivery? I don’t need polish. I don’t need smooth lies. I want sincerity and honesty and Sarah Palin not only delivers that but exposes the hypocrisy of the oligarchs in the opposition party.

The Libs claim Gov. Palin lacks substance. But she works on her husband’s family’s commercial fishing boat. Last I heard, commercially fishing the Bering Sea ranked among the most dangerous of jobs. That’s real character and courage, something of which those wine-sniffing, elitist, Leftist Pelosi-types have no understanding. But we bitter ordinary folk, out here clinging to our guns, religion, and traditional values, do understand and appreciate her. She is one of us. And the fact that she has the courage and integrity to stand up to our enemies rather than groveling and trying to curry the favor of those who hate us is also a plus in her favor. The USA was founded by people who wanted to create something different. That makes the USA, as intended, an example that dictators and monarchies should fear and hate. And they do. Sarah seems to support the USA and not those in the U.N. who would destroy it. Some of us, those who believe in the USA, like that in our leaders.

Yes, Palin convincingly trounced the really bitter, angry, follicly challenged plagiarist Biden in the debate. I have to give him credit for holding his well-known nastiness in check. But talk about the same old drivel. I’ve heard this stuff going back to the Eisenhower era. Fresh air? Palin provides the only kind of breathable air our political landscape has seen in decades. I’m voting for Palin…and, oh, yeah…the gray-haired guy running with her.

“Fed Up on October 4, 2008 3:19 AM wrote: The women actually insulted the dictators of every country that hates our guts on live tv. You know we have to deal with these people, if she gets into office, then tentions with them could get worst. Especially when you look at the cultures, women are inferior to them, for her to do that could cause us major problems. I don’t like palin at all, but i certainly hope she doesn’t ever visit those countries, they would probably behead her.” Did you even READ what you said?? Insulted DICTATORS?? People who take over by force and MURDER their opposition? Are you INSANE!!!?? Why should we give a crap about what someone like that thinks? Why should we kow tow to men who live in the dark ages and yes, BEHEAD people. They cover their women so the men won’t be tempted to RAPE them as they have no self control. you c an’t REASON with someone who blows themselves up and straps bombs on mentally retarded people and their own kids!! You libs are so incredibly STUPID!

Bob, I could not agree with you more. I too have witnessed our nation drift into socialism and liberalism. We have lost our moral anchor. The commentors that are voicing their hatred for Sarah Palin are really saying “I hate this nation, I want the government to hand me everything, I really don’t want to work for my living. I have a right to be a God hating, nation hating, hate filled individual. So I will vote for Obama who represents all my values.” When our government under Obama/Biden fails, and it certainly will, Please Liberals don’t come to conservatives for hand-outs. We will demand you say the pledge of alliance for our great nation and promptly put you to real work, not community organizers.

It appears that most of the posters here are women. Maybe it’s a “man thing,” but I thought Gov. Palin did an excellent job connecting with the voters—at least those of us who are not already prejudiced against her. I thought Sen. Biden came across as a typical Washington politician—unapproachable and aloof except for the brief moment when he talked about the unfortunate deaths of his wife and baby daughter. I thought Gov. Palin came across as friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, and “one of us.” She made me feel as though if she and I were to sit down to dinner somewhere, I could actually carry on an enjoyable conversation with her about politics. As an independent, I still am not convinced that Obama nor McCain are going to be the type of “change” we need in Washington—both are already elitist and part of the problem—but I definitely believe Gov. Palin would be a “breath of fresh air” and would promote REAL change. I would just hope that she would have the guts to stand up to McCain and the other Big Government elite when her gut tells her to do so.

Obama is the con man, not Sarah Palin! Biden lied 16 times in the debate!!! Every time Obama opens his mouth he lies. It’s McCain/Palin for the win! We don’t need shady ACORN in the whitehouse. One reason why you should vote for McCain: Obama

So, I would like to pose a question and it would be great if the moderators would create a new section for this since it does not really belong here. I am a liberal who has traveled and lived in many parts of this country and abroad. I love this country. The one thing that bothers me is how divided we are. I, also get caught up in the divide. Question: Why do you feel the country continues to focus on our differences instead of finding a middle ground where we can actually be a United States? It would be great if people could respond without attacking either side.

Katie, I hope without attacking you personally, but instead show you why conservatives and liberals cannot find this “middle ground” you speak so wishfully for. The political platforms on social issues are so vastly opposed to each other as could possibly be. Let me list just a few: Abortion, Homosexuality, GOD, Religion, Country, Freedom, Flag, War, Guns, Socialism, Free Market, on and on and on. Library’s the size of the National Library of Congress could not hold the books that have been written on the colossal differences between Liberals and Conservatives. I guess the best or worst attempt would be Independents or Libertarians. Both of these categories are all over the map as to their personal position on any given issue. Not to denigrate them, just saying they don’t represent a defined political position. Libertarians like to say they do, but its only on fiscal responsibility, not social issues I’ve listed above. My point Katie, since the beginning of our great nation, good people have struggled to accomplished what you hope for. I wish you success in this quest. I sincerely mean this. God Bless, Herm

You have got to be kidding. Winning on “body language”? What kind of new age and partisan baloney is that? Her respones had little to do with questions posed, and her she said “maverick” so many times that I thought she was impersonating Kelley McGillis in “Top Gun”

Dems & Libs crack me up! The responses to this article seem to be written by an angry teenage girl who never was invited to the high school prom. Your resentment and blind hatred reveals your ignorance. Palin had a few weeks to prepare for a Vice Presidential debate on national television in front of millions of viewers with a Washington ‘insider’ and she came across as a very intelligent and compassionate woman. I’d be proud to have her serve as Vice President of my country. Biden came across as gentlemanly and I actually liked him more afterwards than I did going in. The problem remains Obama. He has run nothing and done nothing for his country. He is ALL about himself and blacks. He lied to America about his relationship with his pastor and he will do anything just to sit in the Oval Office. I see McCain as someone who unselfishly gave ALL to his country. Sorry dems. I will not vote for a known liar. McCain Palin 2008!

We don’t need folksy in the White House. We need lying, robbing, baby killing degenerates. People who will steal everything they can get their mitts on, and demand that you thank them for redistribution of your wealth. Yes, we need democrats. Government for criminals by criminals. Vote democrat!

Katie, I will attempt to address your question on the divide among the people in these United States. Having traveled extensively throughout these Great States, overseas and having lived in countries most people from these United States will never visit, let along find on a map within a minute and several hints… well maybe it is not that bad or I hope not! The divide you asked about rest with the failure of our government, states and communities, schools, families and yes the individual. Our government has failed the people of these United States through allowed bastardization of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Our states and communities have failed us by not standing up for their citizens and insuring a safe and productive environment. Our schools have failed our children by allowing the ever increasing liberalization of the faculty, their failure to provide a balanced education and their failure to provide school texts which are accurate, truthful and unbiased… and please do not get me on the subject of these so called teachers! Very few are worth the money they are paid! The majority could not even hold a job outside the school system. Why do we allow people who can barely archive a c average to teach our children then expect our children to become rocket scientist or honest politicians! We as Parents, Uncles, Aunts… ect have failed to instill in our children the proper respect for our country, our flag, our servicemen and women, our police officers, our fire fighters our elders and yes our God! Some would prefer a have their children look to an athlete as a positive role model… yes there are a few; a very limited few! There are far more soldiers, police, firemen and elders who are far better role models then athletes! Our government is rife with corruption in all parties and has failed to cease it and punish it in an effective manner. Our state and local governments are just a corrupt as our federal government and just as effective at wasting countless millions if not billions of tax payers’ dollars. Our schools are so liberally slanted they are producing mindless drivel unable to locate 10 out of the 180 plus nation in this world… can these students even name a constellation! These same schools have pussified our male students to the point where tag, speedball, kickball, 4 square and
