Dorit Shapiro, a mother of two daughters (age 4 and 8), passed away from stage IV breast cancer last week at age 38. She was president of Gal to Gal Foundation, an organization for women living with stage IV breast cancer. (Listen to how Dorit told her young daughter she had breast cancer here.)

"My goal is to honor the memories of all the women who have lost their battle to this tough enemy and that women and families battling stage IV breast cancer are never forgotten and receive the support they need and deserve.
