Casey Anthony Searched for Chloroform Recipes

Thursday, October 23, 2008
filed under: Casey Anthony

New reports show the mother of missing toddler Caylee Anthony researched how to create her own deadly concoction.

We already knew there were high levels of chloroform in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car where investigators say Caylee's body had been, along with a mysterious stain in the trunk and Caylee's hairs and dirt. We also knew someone using Casey Anthony's computer had been researching for where to buy chloroform.

But now we learn searches for "chloroform recipes" were also found on Casey's computer. According to a guest on "Nancy Grace," creating chloroform is not only cheap, it's easy to make with a simple trip to CVS or Walmart.

A Google search of "how do you make chloroform" yields more than one million websites listed with instructions. On one site, there was an explicit warning about chloroform's dangers, calling the chemical extremely dangerous and unpredictable and a warning to keep kids away from chloroform.

To make chloroform, all you need is bleach, ice, and acetone (a similar ingredient is found in nail polish remover).

Moms of young kids often search for recipes online ... but not like this. Why do you think Casey Anthony wanted to make her own chloroform? Comment in the momlogic community.

I’d like to see Cindy Anthony explain this one! She and George make me sick with their proclamations that Casey is “a great mom.” Compared to what?

Chloroform recipes? This is stupid to give out a receipe like this. There are too many unstable people in the world to give out this information.

Maybe she bought the ingredients with her friend’s stolen checks, hoping there would be no trail? Maybe the ingredients will be found on the same receipt as the party lingerie she bought with a stolen check at Target. Can you say: “sociopathic skank”?

My theory is, she was more concerned with going partying that staying home with her 2 1/2 yr old daughter. I imagine she heard chloroform knocks people out. Casey looked it up on-line, and tried it on her daughter. She didn’t leave Caylee with her parents the night she wanted to go out to spite them, and figured she would use the chloroform as the “babysitter” instead. Casey is already a liar, and out of selfishness she does not want to reveal she did this to her child, and ultimately killed her. I myself would be appalled with myself, however there comes a time when out of respect for your child and family you fess up. This case has gone too far, and I am tired of her parents appearing on TV stating Caylee is alive, she is not, and regardless of how much you love your child you have to realize when enough is enough, hence why Casey is the way she is.

I just wanted to say that,I think she made the chloroform at home. One of the rec. called for BLEACH AND POOL SHOCK. She would be able to get them both free from home.

Also just thought maybe thats why the dogs smelled something at the pool area and the trunk..Since the pool is cleaned with Pool Shock and maybe with some time of bleach or clorine.Just a thought!

i think she used the chloroform on her daughter to knock her out while she went out partying. she left the rag in the trunk along with caylee. the chloroform rag saturated the air and suffocated caylee to death. when she found her dead she tried to dispose of the body at home, but afterwards thought twice about it and dug it up. she left caylee in the trunk until she could figure out a better spot to put her, meanwhile caylee started decomposing.

Nancy Grace keeps definding grandma Cindi, but I think she is psycho mom to Casey. What makes a monster like Casey anyway? I think the only truth she told was when she said she was terrified of he mother.

My heart goes out to Granma and Grandpa. I know how I would feel if anything happened to one of my grandchildren. My grandsons new puppy was stolen from his yard and our whole family was out putting up fliers and going door to door ALL DAY LONG and the pup was returned by 9:00that evening. I can’t understand why Casey wouldn’t do for her daughter what we did for a puppy.

She is a horid, sad and terrible excuse for a mom. She needs to go to the general population in prison if convicted. Let the moms that really love and adore their children get a hold of her. The death penalty would be too easy. If I were her mother, I would shake the crap out of her until she realized the reality of the situation. Either that or someone needs to scare the hell out of her.

She tried to make a concoction for chloroform because she couldn’t afford to buy the real thing (maybe Granny hid the credit card)! No job, no funds of her own, poor little Casey…..I’m glad that CAPITAL B is behind bars and I hope she stays put there forever.

I think just like in the Scott Peterson case that a body will surface… I pray that it does.. Poor baby.. I mean COME on..IF you are innocent wouldn’t you do WHATEVER you can do to prove that? Casey has NOT done one damn thing.. and YOU cannot sit there and tell me that her parents don’t know she is guilty..VERY sad situation!

Death penalty is too good for miss Anthony. Want punishment? Life in prison, no parole, and sentence her to isolation. Since she loves to party so much and be around people this will be hell for her. No human contact but her guards, eats by herself, only out of her cell for more than an hour at a time. And she gets to watch nothing on tv but videos of Caylee. Death is to good for this selfish brat.

Casey didn’t seem to have a problem taking the baby to parties with her at people’s houses. Children wouldn’t be allowed in clubs, though. I still don’t believe she intentionally did this. Not having a babysitter for Caylee was a convenient excuse so that she could “juggle” several men at once, family and friends would be more likely to help financially because of Caylee, and Casey would have gotten tons of compliments because Caylee was so adorable.

Chloroform recipes, huh? You know, my mom is far more qualified to be Mom of the Year than Casey Anthony (case in point: she hasn’t murdered me yet) and I seem to remember her interest leaning toward more mom-like recipes, such as chicken casserole and green bean salad and the like. I don’t recall any chloroform recipes.
