Casey Anthony Searched for Chloroform Recipes

 

Most of the above blogs haven’t picked up on the fact that chloroform can be used as a solvent/cleaner. Perhaps Casey or her mother Cindy (she would know the properties of chloroform from being a nurse) made the concoction in an effort to clean and “wipe out” any DNA evidence in Casey’s car trunk. Since chloroform is made with bleach, it makes sense that the authorities saw a visible stain. If authorities weren’t able to extract DNA from this “stain,” let’s hope the plastic bag found at the towing company yields Caylee’s DNA. Remember, Casey’s mom washed the gray pants that she found in Casey’s trunk (smelled), and Casey’s father (a cop) didn’t “like” the smell coming from her trunk. I’m sure both parents are pretty familiar with the smell of death. I think Casey is responsible for her daughter’s death, and her parents had a hand in covering it up.

Guys, come on! Are you seriously suggesting that she needed to drug her to go out? This doesn’t make sense? Why make up a nanny weeks in advance? Caylee had been staying with grandma and grandpa and her mom at the house - was she going to drug her and leave her with grandma and grandpa? this doesn’t make sense…predmeditated murder is the only thing that fits logically here.

Casey Anthony states that she left her daughter, Caylee, with a Nanny. I don’t know of any Nanny that would keep a child for the lenght of time that Casey states that she had her. Also I haven’t heard of any payment arrangements that Casey Anthony made with the so - called Nanny. Usually there would be a contract agreement with an amount along with Casey’s signature & the Nanny’s. Has anyone considered questioning Casey about this? I really would love to know what lie she has for that question.

I agree with most of the posts. That a mother of a toddler would be looking up chloroform recipes is foreign to me also. When you think of mothers looking up recipes for their children you think of chicken soup and chocolate brownies, not chloroform. The warnings on the Internet are to keep chloroform away from children because it burns the nose and mouth and is very painful and can cause death if inhaled. If Casey put a rag with chloroform on her child’s nose and mouth, she wasn’t putting her to sleep. She was murdering her in a brutal way to get rid of the encumberance of a child and severing ties to her parents. I’m sure Casey was in such a rage over Cindy choking her June 15 because she was enraged about the money Casey stole from her grandfather that Casey took all her rage out on Caylee. I bet Casey threw Caylee in the trunk knowing she was dead or dying, not sleeping. Yes, I believe Casey craved sex and partying because her daughter’s death gave her a high as awful as it sounds.

Mom & Grand mom both should be punished for this irresponsible and barbaric acts. Both should have reported if the caylee is went missing immediately. They would not take weeks to report to the law enforcement agencies.

I feel that the Grandparents of Caylee should be put in jail with Casey. They have their hands out for money but they are not helping the case. They are just sitting back & begging for others to do the job for them. They are not givers, they are takers. And if lying is their way of helping their daughter they are dead wrong. The Anthony’s are in deep denial. Caylee dead & Casey killed her. Cindy has a big mouth on her & has changed her story on national television. No wonder Casey is the way she is. Like mother, like daughter. I honestly feel that Casey’s parents should be charged & go to jail. The world would be safer without them.

It’s easy to be very condemnatory of Casey. But there can be little doubt her whole family are sick. That sort of poverty is passed on from one generation to the next. Coming from a very sick family myself I could only wish Casey had sought help from the counseling/psychiatric profession before this tragedy happened. I have found that I am doing well because a couple of lady counselors, and several other mother substitutes, helped to heal my outrage and my hurt with regards to my own mother, so I pass less dysfunction and poison on to the next generation, my kids. I consider myself very blessed, and these beautiful women will have my gratitude forever.

Thanks for the interesting article and all 49 comments {most of which I agree with.} I truly hope that Tim Miller and Equusearch can find her body quickly…the fact that Casey & Cindy are not willing to give information is disgusting…Tim’s resources would be better spent on someone who cares about their missing loved one! Put Casey in the General Population Section of the Jail…allow her conjugal visits with Drew Peterson…they deserve each other..{oh well I can dream - sri!} Cheers from “down-under”

I think that Casey has to be the most selfish person I have ever heard of. What mom in their right mind would use the life of their child as a get out of jail free card? She reminds me so much of Susan Smith who wanted to get rid of their children to be with a man. I wish these young women would learn how to be strong enough to make it on their own on their own terms and beliefs. I blame a lot of this on her parents as it is obvious that she was not taught how to be strong, caring, unselfish and most of all good moral values. The way they keep defending her is a perfect example.

All of your comments are very interesting - I always thought that Caylees death was an accident - why would anyone bother to mix up or buy chloroform to kill - a baby can easily be smothered, or left in a closed car on a hot Florida day - I think she just wanted her to sleep, probably using Xanax - so she could party- and was left in the car and died. I think she thought she had more time to plan out what she was going to say and when her mother went to find her she wasn’t prepared - she has the ability to come up with something better than the Nanny did it. The date of the recipe search is important. If it was after June 15th Maybe she was planning on saying her car was hijacked and someone put chloroform on her face - the rag is proof. Caylee was in the backseat - but she doesn’t remember what happened because she was knocked out. But she got lazy and asked for a ride from her boyfriend, so that wasn’t going to work - he would be a witness. She will never admit to anything - as long as her parents think she is a victim, she has control over them, as she has all her life. She’s OK as long as they keep believing her lies.

I’ve always been one of those people who wants to give everyone the benefit of doubt, but can someone shoot themselves in the foot so many times? OMGoodness! This just makes me want to cry. In the back of my heart, I was holding out hope that this little girl was still alive, but with each piece of evidence, I’m now starting to pray that they find her body so they can properly lay her to rest. I just don’t understand why someone would hurt their child in this way. I’m not condoning it — in any way — but people who spank their kids one too many times and leave a mark on their rear out of frustration, you can almost go there. But premeditated murder? She could have given this kid to a foster care agency, or the grandparents, or the dad, or just anyone! I don’t understand how you could harm your child intentionally in this manner! It makes me so sad. I also think this ‘grandma’ should be prosecuted. She knows and has known way more than she wants anyone to know about………

I just hope and pray that if Caylee’s little body is out there, someone will find it soon. I was never able to have children, and so there is a special place in my heart for all children. I can think of all the people who wait years to have a child, and never get to have them. They are not disposable. I hope this all ends soon, but I seriously doubt it. I am praying that this new search will finally bring little Caylee back to be properly buried. I hesitate to say “bring her home”

Sorry, one more quick comment, I am very very upset that the posted the actural ingredients on TV, and then stated that many young mothers use this. If there is a mother out there who is on the verge of doing something, I can only pray that she put her child up for adoption instead of going this route. It is frightening what all this information can lead to.

They have just released information that the body farm has concluded that the hair taken from the trunk was from a decomposed body. Not only that, they compared hair taken from a brush that was used to brush Caylee’s hair and concluded that the hair was microscopically similar to the it. We’ve known for month’s that Casey Anthony is a cold hearded, idiotic child murderer so this comes as no surprise, but I’d like to say that I really hate when Casey Anthony supporters say that all the evidence is “circumstantial”. Now what are they going to say? Hair from a living person and hair from a decomposed person are COMPLETELY different, there is no way around the fact that the hair of a dead person was in her trunk. Now defense will try to discount that the hair matches Caylees because without the “bulb” of the hair attached, no DNA can be extracted so microscopic analysis is used to compare. Microscopic analysis can only determine if the hair is “similar” so the defense will just chip away at that by saying it was not Caylee’s hair. But then Casey is left to explain why the hair of a dead person was in her car??? In the midst of everyone saying the car smelled like a “dead body” and the Body Farm PROVING that the hair was from a decomposed body………it’s not brain surgery. AND for those who say they theorize it was an accident. Let me say, searching missing children sites and searching chlorophorm months before your kid is missing and traces of chlorophorm are found in the car does not equate to ACCIDENT, it equates to premeditated, cold hearted, cold blooded MURDER. Period! And going out partying it up while your child is missing. Please people. Get a grip, this was no accident. AND I really hate the skeptics that say that she will not be found guilty on circumstancial evidence, Umm, wake up, less we forget they had NOTHING on Scott Peterson except his behavior. Nothing! They found 1 hair on his boat that did not belong to him but they could not determine if it belonged to Stacy because they had nothing to compare to. So they had NOTHING. And where is he? Death Row baby, where he belongs and Casey belongs there too. Because at least when Scott’s wife was “missing” he was able to

What is with Equusearch. Come and go. He gets on TV and has a big mouth -“this time we go until we find her” - next thing they are gone again after a quick in and out - until you hear they are coming back. Why don’t they stay and finish the job. They don’t need permission from the killer-family to search - why whine that they don’t get cooperation from the Anthonys. Do they really expect that? I say, just get the job done! Then again - maybe there isn’t a body. This is Florida - and there are those gaters…..

I just hope they let her go into the general population in jail, its the only way that Caylee will get justice if they dont find the woman who gave birth to her guilty and give her the chair! Who waits 6 weeks to tell anyone that their child is missing, and then the find out she was searching for ways to make chloroform.

I pray that Caylee’s body is found. I pray for Casey b/c one day she will have to be judged by GOD. There is no harsher judgement than the wrath of GOD. I pray for Cindy, George, and the rest of the family that if they know anything at all about the where abouts of Caylee that they come forward. I also pray that if they don’t know anything that we all as human beings can find sympathy as we do not know what it is like to loose a child—-well some of us may —-but not all.i also pray that Casey will crack under the pressure and the guilt of keeping this to herself. Her attorney’s have their work cut out for them. I also pray that Caylee is with our heavnly father and that we can all have closuer on this.

I honestly think she has a serious problem with bipolar, and depression and the disease got the best of her and it caused her to go crazy and I honestly think she killed her daughter how can you not show emotion for your child! That’s crazy! But besides that why would you look for a drug like that online what is wrong with people, If you cant take care of a child why have one having a child is the best privleage in the world why take that for granted she should have gave that child to someone who would take of her and give her the life she would of had but now she gone and she’ll never get that I hope she rotes in jail…
