Cell Phones May Damage Men's Fertility


Researchers at the University of Newcastle found excessive cell phone use may eliminate men's sperm count. The results echo previous research, which found that men who use cell phones frequently have up to 40 percent fewer sperm than men who use mobile phones less often. When researchers built a device that operated at the same radio frequency as cell phone calls, men had sperm damage after 16 hours of exposure. The findings were presented at a fertility conference on Monday in Brisbane, Australia.
