The supermodel and mother of two dressed up as drug-addled songstress Amy Winehouse. Is this offensive or clever?

On Friday, Cindy Crawford attended Kate Hudson's Halloween party in Los Angeles. The paparazzi caught these images of the supermodel dressed up as the troubled drug addicted British singer Amy Winehouse, complete with fake drugs coming out of her nose. Although the costume is flawless in it's execution, is it in bad taste to mock someone who is so obviously sick with addiction?

Is this equivalent to someone dressing up with a bald head and pale skin so they look like a cancer patient? Or does the fact that it's drug addiction and essentially Winehouse's choice to be sick make her fair game? What do you think? Tell us your opinion in the momlogic community.

I think it’s funny…people dress up a rock star, movie actors and all other forms of celebs every year for halloween so way is this any different.

It cracked me up when I first saw it, but I do think the white powder under her nose was a bit too far. Let’s remember, all of these problems that Amy Winehouse has been having have been played out completely in the public eye. This was not Cindy Crawford outing someone that had a secret drug addiction. Come on people! Isn’t Amy Winehouse kind of all about poor taste? Look at her hair, tattoos, clothes, etc. She would probably laugh at it.

Whoa that pic of the real Amy is scary and sad looks like someone proped her on that stage and made her sing for humiliation

I think its funny. Why not poke a little fun at Amy? Until she is recovered does she really even deserve to NOT be made fun of?
