A Michigan high school girls Powder Puff team was disciplined for showing too much skin in class.
Dozens of girls were recently kicked out of class at the St. Clair Shores school in Michigan for revealing too much skin. The Lake Shore Girls Powder Puff players were banned from class and put in detention because the school says their "uniforms" are too risque and showed too much leg.
The school dress code says skirts and shorts have to go to the knee. However, half the team was in violation for wearing spandex and tights.
"I was in the house all the day because of this," says student Haleigh Sluschewski. "No skin is showing. I don't see anything wrong with it." Superintendent Christopher Loria said, "You can't see her skin, but Haleigh's shorts are still too short for the Lake Shore School District."
The girls might still be able to play in Wednesday's game, but the school says next time they may not be so lenient.
