Health Officials Ban Fish Pedicures

Fish pedicures have been taking the nation by storm as the hot, new spa treatment. Health officials, however, have other concerns on their mind. Health officials in Texas and Washington state have banned the service because of the potential for the nibbling fish to spread infections. After the fish eat the dead skin off an individual's feet, there is no way to change out the water before the next client. Yick. This move is precautionary, as no health issues have actually been reported.
