Anne Hathaway Hammered by Letterman

Wednesday, October 1, 2008

The actress who loves to play innocent seemed annoyed by David Letterman's questions about her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri. Follieri just pleaded guilty to Federal charges of fraud, conspiracy and money laundering. Follieri conned investors out of millions of dollars by making a variety of false claims, including that he was the CFO of the Vatican.

I think it is just you. She was asked some tough questions about a very difficult personal situation she had this summer. She seemed to do a great job.

why is this website always so negative? Anne should be applauded for coming out of this hard time with grace and dignity. So often you see women standing behind losers like him and defending them! I thought she handled the interview with humor and charm. You can see she was deeply hurt and is trying to come through this a better person. Cheers to her!

I also think she handled that all with a lot of grace. I love David Letterman, but really, some of those questions (if not all) were a bit personal. She’s there for her movie. Good for her for not hiding away and being out there.

I don’t think she was bad at all!

I loved her comments and reactions. She did just fine, yes those were Personal and she said about just doing her work, promoting the film, etc. but she also answered. He said about having a couple more questions & saying when it’s enough… they both played around with it. I think it went okay (it is David Letterman). I also want to say I agree with “me”…I have made several comments about the site going negative and superficial, and where is the logic? There are quite a few of us actually who make these kinds of comments. I hope everyone who feels this way will do as I have recently. I’m not sure they read our posts so I went to the very bottom of the page and clicked on contact us, then sent them a message about how I feel. Maybe if enough of us do that they’ll come around, right now they think sensationalism and polarization are the way to go.
