Gary Fiscus, a music appreciation instructor at Iowa Western Community College, was diagnosed with breast cancer in his right breast. When Fiscus noticed the small sore on his right breast growing larger, he said he couldn't ignore it because of his family history of cancer. Fiscus' cancer has now spread to his left lung, left adrenal gland and there is a small spot on his spine."It's kind of a shock, but you just keep going with your life," said the 59 year-old, who is undergoing weekly chemotherapy treatments. In 1993, actor Richard Roundtree, 60, promoted male breast cancer awareness when he announced his diagnosis. He underwent chemotherapy, radiation and a mastectomy.
