Trick or Treat Ban: Parentdish reports that in Belleville, Illinois, kids in high school are banned from trick or treating. The town recently passed an ordinance that prohibits kids from ninth grade and up from the Halloween tradition, unless they're escorting younger siblings. Parents of children who break the rule will be fined $25. Belleville's mayor says the ordinance was passed to stop teens from ringing doorbells past nine o'clock, which scared local senior citizens.

If your husband is absent-minded, have him carry around this card which holds all the info he needs to pick out the perfect gift. Examples include your favorite candy, your dress size, and bra size. I try to spend as much time as I can with her," she says.
