Forget plastic surgery. We have a better alternative to the mommytuck.

Call it what you will -- tummie bulge, muffin top, belly roll thing that suddenly came on after we gave birth and won't go away... It's difficult to cover up in clothing, it hangs over our jeans and even worse ... it's nearly impossible to get rid of no matter what we do (how the hell Brooke Burke did it after four kids is beyond us...) The good news, is there is hope. Yummie Tummie,  one of Hollywood's best kept shapewear secrets claims to eliminate pounds, control the midsection, shape and smooth our bumps. Really.  We took three women, who all claimed to have belly issues, put them in Yummie Tummie tanks and ... ummm ... well, just look at the results. And although these will run you around $70 (still MUCH less than a mommytuck), we think they're totally worth it. Plus, we're giving some away. Want one?

Do you think the color choice for the tanks was on purpose? Ummm, experience shows us that black is a slimming color. I am sure it works, I just think it is funny that the before picture was in white and after in black…

I agree on that one angie. I was wondering the same thing. But even so, the results don’t lie.

jackie October 16, 2008, 5:48 PM

yeah but one girl is wearing black in the before. it looks much slimmer. I want to try!

I have one in both White and Black, they work! After 2 kiddos I needed any help I could get and these tanks are great!

janet lindsey October 17, 2008, 1:41 AM

i need that asap!

Shapewear is nothing new, you can probably get something similar that costs less about anywhere. I don’t know if this did any better job than those or not because the befores in white (which shows shadows, pops more=appears larger), also the befores for the first 2 are much closer than the afters (larger), the one in the black tank top I really thought they looked the same.
I was happy to see that this top did not also squish the breasts because often times that is the case. I’d be willing to try it…maybe I can win. ;-)

I’ve tried everything - as soon as I put on my jeans I look pregnant again.

A few months ago Oprah had this as one of her FAVORITE SUMMER THINGS. I have been looking for them ever since. Thanks.

I could really, really use one of these! Despite all my morning walks, I can’t seem to get rid of my extra “rolls”! Thank you!

Suzanne Eller October 21, 2008, 9:30 AM

I swim and walk almost daily, but I had twins and that baby bump is still there. My twins are in college, so I don’t think it’s going anywhere. : ) I’d love to be cconsidered for this.

dianne October 22, 2008, 8:23 PM

SPANX is the way to go. It’s better and cheaper. SPANX Really works!
