New Crib Doubles as a Nanny
Thursday, October 16, 2008
An ultra-modern high tech crib takes care of your baby when you can't.
Okay, seriously how lazy can people get? The Intellicot,
a crib due to debut in 2009, rocks your baby to sleep with an automatic
rocking mechanism, has air circulation control and a
built-in baby video monitoring system. So, apparently, besides food and
diaper changes, you're covered.

One
feature is pretty awesome: The crib comes equipped with a 'baby
lifting system,' that, claims the Intellicot website, will "reduce parents' bending and back strain." The uber-modern crib is still in development, so no word on the price. But for a 'baby cage'
with as many extras as a brand new car, you can bet this baby don't
come cheap.
Is this crib cool or just one step away from raising your baby in a plastic bubble?

I like the air circulation system, it would help cut down on SIDS.

Having 5 kids it is pretty cool. But I would worry about it malfunctioning. Or something

I am old school kind of mom. So when they are ready for a real bed the parents will work double time to get the child use to falling asleep naturally. HMMMM…

Why does it look like a dish washer.. or a dryer? :/ I too would be afraid of malfunction. I do think the air circulation is a good idea though.
