'Pregnancy Pact' School to Give Out Birth Control


The school board in Gloucester, Massachusetts -- where several young girls reportedly made a pregnancy pact -- has unanimously voted to allow contraceptives to be given out at school. The board chairman says the contraceptives will be distributed at the high school's health clinic with parental consent.
After news of the pact was reported, several townspeople, including the mayor and some of the pregnant girls at the school, denied any pact existed.

That pregnancy pact has turned out to be tabloid sensationalism, it wasn’t true. There are a lot of pregnancies at the school and they apparently made a pact to help each other out.
