Sarah Palin: 'Job Security for SNL Characters'

Monday, October 6, 2008

Everyone is still talking about Tina Fey's return to SNL as Sarah Palin, with special guest star Queen Latifah playing debate moderator Gwen Ifill. LOL!

Check out the video here:

Today, Sarah Palin even mentioned SNL and Tina Fey in a campaign speech. "Evidently, there's some interest in what I've been reading lately," she told a crowd in Clearwater, Florida. "I think that this comes from -- it's a result of a probably less than successful interview that I had recently with, kind of, mainstream media."

"Yet, you know what? In response to critics after that interview what I should have told them was I was just trying to keep Tina Fey in business, just giving her more information," Palin said to loud applause. "Job security for SNL characters."

What did you think of the debate spoof?

Governor Palin was expressing her frustration for the media and the irrelevant questions she was being asked. Katie Couric asked her what newspapers she reads. In the middle of a economic crisis I would have to say, “Is that the best question you could come up with, Katie?” OK, Katie hear is a question you should have asked: If elected Vice President what economic plan do you and Senator McCain have to stabilize our economy and to create new jobs for the people?

It is nice to see that Sarah Palin has such a good sense of humor. She is actually considering going on the SNL. Good for her, I prefer the REAL Sarah Palin to Tina Fey any day!
