Schools Allow Students to Report Bullies Online

Schools have developed a website called SchoolTipline that allows students to report bullies, drugs and theft anonymously. School administrators hope to deter the "snitch" label which can lead to student suffering. "It allows students to have an outlet and avenue to report things they might otherwise not have reported," said Rosanna Ungerman, principal of a Utah Middle School. Parents can the website to report incidents at their children's schools. Participating states include Utah, Texas, Washington, California and Arizona.

this is great. this solves a major problem with kids, as not to be a rat even when they know that the right thing to do is to tell. now they can do both.
