Soccer Mom Packs Heat at Daughter's Game

A Pennsylvania mother stirred up anger from parents after she wore a holstered gun to her five-year-old daughter's soccer game. A judge overturned a sheriff's ruling to revoke Meleanie Hain's concealed weapons permit amidst numerous complaints about the incident. Although he returned her permit, Judge Robert Eby said "Fear doesn't belong at a kid's soccer game from any source." Hain said that it was too hot out to properly conceal the weapon and that, do to her husband's unnamed profession, she was a "greater target" than the average person.
