Marriage is hard work. If you don't roll up your sleeves, dig your heels in and open your heart -- you just might become another statistic. Take a minute and watch Lisa Nichols of "The Secret" and you just might save your marriage.
Far too many people are ready to give up so easily at the slightest problem. Unless the problem is a deal-breaker, like cheating, it can, and should, be worked out.
A major issue, however, is too many young people get married for the wrong reasons, or with the wrong mindset, thinking “If it doesn’t work out, I’ll just get divorced.” There is no “just” in divorce. It is a horrible experience for everyone involved, ESPECIALLY children. If you aren’t getting married for the long haul, don’t get married.
